Twin fin magic 06 Jan 2012

I received this Ben Aipa Twinny 20 years ago from a friend up the street who was moving up north, he did not surf any more, and was happy to pass it on to a happy little surf rat like my self. I could not beleive it when I found it on our back deck and then mum telling me the story of Rob moving away and wanted to pass on the board me, wow what a gift !

The Aipa has always been one of those special boards to me, I have had it tucked away, at one stage I had to lock it in my room to stop my mates from taking it all the time. It has been made for solid Hawaiian frame, definatly bigger than me, I guess this has been a good thing to help perserve this fine craft, other wise I probably would have ridden it's to death by now.

Aipa- 6'0" x 21"x 3

So here it is my interpretation of the Aipa,5'8" x 20" x 2 5/16",  I am not sure why it has taken me so long.

Pretty excited to get it glassed up and in the water, will let you know how it goes...
